Between the 18th and 25th February, 15 students from the 1st and 2nd years of Bachillerato from our school went on a study trip to Dublin where they enjoyed a week of language immersion organised by the English department in collaboration with the Nubra Agency and the EC School of English in the Irish capital. The participating students lived with Irish families and attended an English course. At Trinity College they visited its famous library and saw the illuminated manuscript of Kells. They also visited the archaeology section of the National Museum of Ireland, or got an insight into the creative process of a Nobel Laureate in Literature during a visit to the exhibition “Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again”. Of course, there was time for shopping, enjoying Dublin as Dubliners and getting as close as possible to the wild pigs in Phoenix Park!
